Yoga Classes

We have many classes to choose from, beginner to advanced levels, and as we believe that yoga is for everyone, we’d like to assist you in finding the practice that suits you. Our classes foster Sangha (community), as well as compassionate enquiry of your own path.

Yadu Yoga

Prime your body and expand your range of motion as you delve deeper into your yoga practice. Yadu Yoga’s robust practice evolves from the fundamental roots of traditional yoga exercises, aiming to unlock every joint and muscle in the body.

Suitable for beginners who wish to understand the foundations of yoga before moving on to asana practice, and advanced practitioners who would like to move forward in their practice.

Ashtanga

A system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive set series of postures – a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

Beginner Yoga

In this class the basic, foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers.

Hatha Flow

Hatha yoga refers to a set of asanas (traditional yoga postures) designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body – especially the spine – so that energy can flow freely. Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment.
Hatha Flow is a more dynamic version of the Hatha Yoga class where the transitions between asanas (postures) are more fluid and aligned with the breath.

Kids Yoga

These yoga sessions teach kids the basics of yoga, aiding better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. Yoga can help kids and teens carry these skills beyond class into their daily routines. Designed to be interactive and great fun, we use imagery and music are used as motivational tools to encourage easy learning.

Mummy and Baby Yoga

This class focuses on strengthening the spiritual, emotional and physical bond between parent and child. Using interactive, slow-moving postures the class is ideal for mummies and babies newborn to crawling age. Mummy and Baby Yoga will help carry you smoothly through the busy early months of caring for a new baby.

Yoga Shred

Yoga Shred is a super-effective fusion of Yoga and fitness moves. This class gives you all the balance, entering, and endurance based strength of Yoga, infused with the superior cardio, muscle-defining and sculpting, and whole-body transformation that comes with HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)

Radiant Flow

Long, creative, expressive asana sequences for the absolute surrender to flow. This morning vinyasa class incorporates balancing poses, intuitive movement, liquid transitions and change of direction to further challenge your focus. Start your day with that radiant glow!

Ashtanga Intermediate

The Ashtanga Intermediate Series or second series, is known as Nadi Shodhana – meaning Nerve Cleansing. This is because of the focus on backbend asanas. The backbends encourage and maintain the suppleness of the spine and as well as working on opening the energy channels allowing Prana to flow freely. (Nadi Shodhana is also the name given to Alternate Nostril Pranayama).

While some of the earlier asanas in the sequence may be familiar to many (Locust Pose for example) the Intermediate series sequence moves onto more intense backbends, hip opening poses and headstand variations.

Prenatal Yoga

is designed to reduce the aches and pains during and after pregnancy in a nurturing and supportive environment. We will focus on special breathing techniques, opening of the hips, preparing the body for birth and assisting the body to recover post birth.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is the perfect blend of meditation and physical movement. The slower style allows for a deeper focus, stretch, and relaxation.

It is a particular style of yoga that aims to balance the body’s main meridian system based on the ancient medical system of Chinese medicine. The asanas are strategically chosen to open and circulate blood and “chi” through the body to relieve stress, pain, and open blockages.

Few poses are chosen for each session, and the poses are held for up to five minutes or longer. Much of the practice is done on the floor, either seated or lying down.

Throughout our daily lives, poor posture, bad habits, excessive sitting or standing, lack of stretching, injuries, and other factors can lead to toughness and congestion of the fascia. This then leads to issues like pain, tension, inflexibility, fibromyalgia, and other concerns. Yin yoga is one of the best ways to loosen and nourish your fascia, bringing it back to life.

This also makes it hugely beneficial alongside cycling, running , and other exercises that shorten the muscles.

Using props such as bolsters, blocks and, blankets, every posture is supported making the practice customised to your own unique anatomical shape.
The sessions are focusing on organ health, mindfulness and meditation.
Suitable for pregnant ladies.
Power Yoga

Power Yoga varies from teacher to teacher, but they do include relatively the same framework of a fitness-based approach to a Vinyasa-style yoga.

The emphasis in each class lies in strength and flexibility, flowing through each pose using breathwork and learning how to position yourself into balances correctly.  Expect an intense internal heat and to work up a bit of a sweat.  Power Yoga is a great full-body workout, and work-in that will challenge your body and mind.  Suitable for beginners to advanced.

Our Goal

Is to help you to de-stress, relax and improve your health by balancing your mind and body. We assist you in developing the tools to withstand the pressures of everyday life and rise above them, by creating a safe and nurturing haven where acceptance and compassion are cultivated.
